a social being?

not one to hang out with other humans most of the time, i find my latest social/spinning/crochet engagement shocking. i am giving some prizes to the nyc spinout, which will be held in central park tomorrow (june 24). i may even attend :) the event sounds like fun and also raises $ for heifer international. if you're feeling flush, you can donate thru june 30 to this good cause at the link above.

and THEN, i've finished crocheting a nipple for the nipple project.

at the top of the page, there's the yarn i started with, handspun by me, COILY!!! beneath that are versions of the crocheted nipple, top and side views. they will join lots of other hand crafted nipples to be joined into one big nipple artpiece. can't wait to see the whole thing assembled :)


and i'm crocheting (for my amusement) some kind of mitten project for another group.
