fiber everywhere

thanks to my generous fiber loving friends, i now have a bit more...gillian sent softsoft wonderful stuff (at top) along with a gorgeous assortment of things she knew i'd love. (she was a most awesome swap partner recently!) thanks again, g!! check her photography and more at spunbunny! and lynn/yarnwench also surprised me with some of her stupendous dyed locks and a pretty necklace and card. wow, you guys rock :)

and peter gave me something i've been eyeing for awhile. a spinner's share in a csa/at the martha's vineyard fiber farm. the $ suppports the feeding and care of their fiber animals and shareholders are given wool, mohair fleece or yarn for their part in helping support the farm. check them out and there's info on purchasing shares there, too.
these were birthday presents, btw. g included the 25th year celebration release of music from blade runner, one of my most favorite movies. but it seems like i just saw that movie for the first time? how could it have been 25 years ago????
